In this course we learn together to discuss, explain and debate opinions and ideas in Spanish.
This course is designed for students who wish to continue to develop their Spanish language skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing, by building on the cultural knowledge and language learned in NCEA Level 1.
This course deals with Spanish as used in familiar contexts. Students are expected to produce increasingly extended spoken and written communication in which they explore the views of others, develop and share personal perspectives and justify ideas in different situations. Internal assessments include a writing portfolio, interactive conversations and a spoken presentation. Students will complete external examinations in reading comprehension and listening comprehension. This course is based on the New Zealand curriculum Level 6 and 7 and offers 19 credits at Level 2.
